Because we are required to follow Federal guidelines to offer Bankruptcy Debtor Education classes here are the simple steps you need to follow.

Step 1

Register for the class. You may register here on the website or by calling us at 1.866.366.0599. Send in your payment of $50 dollars per individual or $75 per couple. You may pay immediately with a debit or credit card or mail in a cashiers check, money order or personal check to our processing office 111 West Cataldo, Suite 200, Spokane, WA 99201-3203.

Note–If paying with a personal check, it will take a few additional days to clear.

Your registration is not complete until your payment has been received.

Once you have completed the registration process we will send you a packet of information containing the classroom materials and some information about us. This may take up to 10 days depending on your location.

Step 2

If you are not taking this class in conjunction with a bankruptcy you may ignore step 2

Once the class has been completed you are required to fax, mail, or email copies of your pre and post test answer sheets, class evaluation and a photocopy of your state or government issued picture id (drivers license or passport) back to our Spokane WA address. The instructor will explain this during class. When we have received all this information we will generate your certificate and fax a copy to your attorney. Then you may live happily ever after.

Step 3

The packet of materials you get in the mail will include the toll-free telephone number and pass codes to get you into the class.

Each class will last a minimum of two hours, so plan your time accordingly.

Important Information for Post-Filing Class Participants

The Post-Filing course Money in Motion is provided by Granite Lake Educational Resources.

The course costs are $25 per person for Internet classes and $50 per individual or $75 per couple for Telephone and In-Person classes. There are no additional costs for the program. This course is available to you without regard to your ability to pay.

Cecil Ellsworth is the Director of Education and Community Relations for Granite Lake Educational Resources. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Education, has 15 years of classroom experience, and has taught financial literacy for 9 years.

Granite Lake Educational Resources does not pay or receive fees or other consideration for the referral of students to these classes.

Upon completion of the course Granite Lake Educational Resources will provide a certificate of course completion to each student.

Our Educators

Cecil Ellsworth is the Director of Education and Community Relations for Granite Lake Educational Resources. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Education, has 15 years of classroom experience, and has taught financial literacy for 12 years.

Sherri Floyd has been an NFCC, FCRA and CCCS certified counselor since 2002. She has been the manager and counselor of the Coeur dAlene, ID CCCS office since 2003. She has taught financial literacy classes for four years

Sherry Gardner has a degree in secondary education and a Ph.D. in Psychology. She has a Masters in Counseling and has a clinical counseling practice. She has more than 11 years teaching experience in colleges and secondary schools. She is licensed to sell insurance and securities in Washington and Utah.

Michael Bull has 17 years experience teaching in colleges and universities. With more than five years experience teaching financial literacy.
